NPD abuse and how I am a survivor of NPD abuse.

I have a friend who has NPD and it is HORRIBLE.

I vow to NEVER, EVER treat anyone like she treats me. Yes, I love attention, but I would never HARM anyone to get it.
With that said, I do feel some people who suffer from HPD do many things a person who has NPD does, but many times it's because they have some form of NPD that is coexisting with HPD.

I will never ever hurt anyone intentionally. I feel a person should know themselves and be open and honest with others. I am. I do love attention,especially from men. I'm upfront about this. I tell them first thing.. "listen, I love attention. We may flirt and everything, but I do not want anything serious." I'll even tell them I have HPD if I have to.
They only care about themselves. We do not have NPD we have HPD. We need attention to feel something and to feel loved. We enjoy attention because it makes us feel loved. Yes, we may wear something sexy and flirt with men and women, but we would never harm anyone. We care, and sometimes we care deeply. We have emotions and feelings;whereas, people suffering with NPD do not. I am going to be blogging sometimes about NPD support and how to overcome abuse from a narcissit because I feel, as someone who suffers from HPD, it can really mess with us as we (well.. I do) feel very deeply and NEED to feel loved and people who have NPD make us feel like shniz for their own benefit.
